Sobig Damage Climbs to 3rd Place
London, UK - 28 August 2003, 16:00 GMT - Sobig has risen to become
the 3rd most damaging virus ever according to the mi2g Intelligence Unit as
it continues to choke bandwidth even for users with clean machines who are
receiving "returned-mail messages" non-stop. The return from holidays
and downloading of email is creating waves of further Sobig infections.
