London, UK - 12 December 2003, 12:30 GMT - Correlations between physical militant activity and politically motivated hacker attacks against government targets and large global businesses are increasing with every passing month according to the mi2g Intelligence Unit. The bombings in Istanbul, Mumbai, Riyadh, Casablanca and Bali were all preceded by a huge increase in digital attacks focused on those countries as well as the countries whose assets were specifically targeted.
