10th November 2000 - The Chairman of the Bank of China, a Rector who
looks after the homeless and a Rear Admiral who captained a ship in the Falklands
War are among those receiving honorary degrees from City University, London.
The honorary doctorates will be presented at London’s historic Guildhall on
Friday 17 November 2000.
Rear Admiral John M T Hilton is senior consultant with mi2g
Ltd working on e-commerce intelligence and security issues. His last appointment
as Rear Admiral was as President of the Ordnance Board; the MOD Safety Authority
for all explosives, including nuclear.
